Purchasing Discounted GFranco Shoes for a student

We have a special discount for students who'll order shoes from us in GFranco. The manager is the one to process that (go through these videos to see how to do it).

When a student expresses their interest to order the shoes
Student support specialist to give them instruction on how to order (template below).
Hi {studentName}! So below are the steps for getting the shoe discount :)
1. Choose your shoes at https://gfrancoshoes.com
2. Input your shipping address to check shipping price
3. Share with us the following:
Link to the shoes you’d like
Your shipping address
The shoe models, quantity, and sizes
4. Venmo or Zelle to us the amount of the shoe plus shipping amount. (Ignore sales tax. The 10% discount essentially zeroes it out). Alert me when it has been sent.
5. We will get the discount and have the shoes sent directly to you!
When student gives all info and pays the correct amount - time to order
Student support specialist to send all info to the manager. Preferably in this format:

In the future, if the student support specialist gets green light to process the shoe order themselves, here are the steps on how to do it (as of August 2024):
Log in to Movers and Shakers account in GFranco
Check out the
Verify that the student's payment is equals to the shoe price + estimated shipping fee (make sure to uncheck the add-on purchases - like insurance - that are automatically selected by default in the order page)
When confirmed, apply our discount code. This amount is not known to the student.
Proceed to check out. Write the student information (name and address) under "Delivery" section. Put the support number in the phone field.
For "Shipping", select USPS Ground Shipping. The one with the lowest shipping rate.
For "Payment", after entering the card details, please make sure shipping address is different from billing address. Billing name should be "Daniel Kalman" and the billing address is the one at 2355 Westwood Blvd. Enter support number into the phone field.
Double check all fields. Once verified, you'll be directed to a confirmation page. Check info@moversandshakersdance email for the receipt, estimated delivery date, and order number.
Student support specialist sends this to the student. (If manager is still doing the purchase, manager to notify student support specialist about purchase).
Payment tracker must be updated to reflect this card transaction.
For exchanges of the shoes (we'll have to process it on our end)
Even exchange for the same shoe or same price, no fees except the $8 postage fee. Message the student using this template:
Hi Spencer!
Sure! We'll process the exchange for you. The good news is, there are no other expenses to you other than the $8 to cover the postage to mail the new item (in Size 11.5) to you. Hope that's okay. Here are the first steps:
1. Venmo $8 to @moveshakedance (last four of phone are 4006 for verification).
2. Please send me photos showing the bottoms (outsoles) and both sides of shoes.
3. Once we sent the exchange request form, we'll get back to you with next steps!

When we've confirmed that the student has sent postage fee to us, it's time to process the request. Go to the bottom of the Exchange/Request page and accomplish the form. Pay the postage fee and send an update to the student:
Hey {studentName}
Sharing an update! We have already submitted the Exchange Form and paid the $8 postage for GFranco Shoes to mail you your new items to you.
Next step will be to pack all the exchange items, and if available, include your orginal packing slip. If the orginal packing slip is unavailable, include a note specifying your first and last name used to place the order and seal the box. You can use the box the items arrived in or another box if you prefer.
Please take the box to your local postal carrier (For example United States Postal Service, FedEx, UPS) and purchase sufficient postage to mail the the package to GFranco Shoes.

Upon receipt and verification of the condition of any item returned, your selected item will be shipped to you. Please be informed that if any item returned shows any signs of wear or for any other reason non- returnable, prepayment of additional shipping fees will apply to return the item back to you.

If uneven exchange - meaning they want to exchange to a shoe with a different price. Ask student what exactly they're exchanging for. Then call GFranco support at 442 244 5002 from 11am - 4pm PST to process it.
For refunds of returned shoes (we'll have to process it on our end)
Almost the same steps as shoe exchanges, except that we requested refund instead of returns. We get refund confirmation from GFranco first (via email/chat). Once we have confirmed the money was sent back, the manager will refund the student through Venmo.
Gfranco will not refund the shipping fees they paid for the first order. So the refund amount to the student will be deducted as well, typically by ~$8.
