Booking, getting in and locking up the studio

When the student support specialist onboards new instructors, they will need to know how to get into the studio and turn on the lights, the sound system and unlock the bathroom. They will also need to know how they should leave the place since some studios have a front desk, while most studios don't.

Here are the studios we use and guide on how to operate them.

Los Angeles

The Balcony on Beverwil

Address:

The code for the lock box to get the keys is: 1803 . Lights on the left side of the wall at the entrance just pull up all of them.

Take the elevator to the top and the studio is up there.

Parking is free in the structure. No need to download the parking app.

As of date of writing, Danny and Karin have a special agreement that's why we are able to book their space at a very good price. We try our best to always book their studio. We pay all our bookings at the end of the month.

ViBE Dance Studio

How to open the studio:

1. Download mobile app AUGUST.

2. Give the instructor's email to Vibe Studio. Make an account using the invitation from them.

3. They'll give her access. When instructor opens the app and presses the red button from the door, it'll give her access 10 mins before and after the class start time (so if class is 8pm, door will be open from 7:50am to 8:10am)

How to book:

1. Fill out the form on their website. https://www.vibecreativespace.com/. Use our gmail address.

2. Text booking manager Elina at +1 (626) 501-5266 if she hasn't replied to booking request after a day.

3. If she has replied to our email and gave us the green light to pay, kindly message the manager.

4. Manager will send you a screenshot of the Venmo payment. Send that to their email.

5. Make sure Elina sends us the confirmation message either through text or email.

West LA Academy of Dance

Free parking lot behind the building.

How to open the studio:

If there is no front desk staff available, the instructor can get the keys from the lockbox located at the lower right of the back door. The lockbox code is: 0315.

Ask the instructor to only unlock the back door and ensure all students and instructors enter and exit through the parking lot. For any issues, contact Mariah at (509) 628-6130.

The Floor Studio

How to open the studio:

Front desk staff will assist the instructor. Door code is 8042. All students are supposed to use downstairs bathroom only because bathroom upstairs is exclusive to kids. Also they don't allow street shoes on The Floor so people need socks if no dance shoes yet. More of their policies on CRM.

SOHO Dance LA

There is a front desk staff to assist the instructor. We only book them if we don't have any other option. Reason is they have their own classes and sometimes they market to our students as well. How to book:

Unspoken Studio

Reminders:

Basically, they just ask us to keep the studio clean, no food and drinks. Preferably water bottles. I believe there's signs on the mirrors stating not to touch.

Millennium Dance Complex Las Vegas

How to book: 1. Go to https://mdclv.com/studiorentals/.

2. Click "View Studio Availability" to see open schedules.

3. Log in. Get credentials from the manager.

4. Book the time desired. Our card is on file and will be automatically charged. Only book Studio 3 when the private lesson student has sent their pre-payment for the lesson.

There is a front desk staff to assist the instructor. This is the space we book for all our private lessons in Vegas.
